Hey Kids, Free Candy! is an audio installation project that encourages participants to take "found" CD's from various record stores.  Unknowingly to the employees, each EP is placed randomly throughout the record store.  A silver embossed stamp embellishes the candy coated case stating, "You must read the back of this EP".  The message on the back informs whomever reading that the CD is free for their taking.

Each case is put together by hand, from the cutting, pasting, stamping, embossing, folding and gluing.  A total of 200 are to be placed in the record stores, each with a specialized numbering and relative date of placement.  Ex: 096200 would be No.96 of 200.
